01Acceptance of Terms
By enrolling in any course at Accounting Baba - whether offline at any of our branches or online - you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
These terms apply to all courses offered by Accounting Baba, operated by Ketul Patel and Company and Hopeberry Retail Private Limited, Surat, Gujarat, India.
Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of the seat reservation amount or full course fee. Verbal confirmation or form submission alone does not reserve your seat.
02Course Enrollment
- Enrollment is open to anyone above the age of 16 who wishes to build accounting, Excel, finance or AI skills.
- No prior accounting knowledge is required for the Advanced Accounting, Excel Mastery, Computer Fundamentals or AI Productivity courses.
- The Finance / FP&A course requires basic accounting knowledge. Accounting Baba reserves the right to assess your eligibility before confirming enrollment.
- Seats are limited per batch. A seat is confirmed only after the seat reservation amount (or full fee) is received.
- Batch timings, start dates and branch assignments are subject to availability at the time of enrollment.
- Accounting Baba reserves the right to merge, reschedule or cancel a batch with at least 48 hours notice. Affected students will be offered an alternative batch or a full refund.
03Course Fees and Payment
- Course fees are as published on our website at the time of enrollment. Fees are subject to change for future batches without prior notice.
- A seat reservation amount of ₹1,000 is required to hold your seat in most courses. The balance is due as per the installment schedule communicated at the time of enrollment.
- Full fees for the Finance / FP&A course are payable as per the schedule agreed at the time of enrollment.
- Payments are accepted via online payment (Cashfree), UPI, NEFT/IMPS or cash at the branch.
- A payment receipt will be issued for every transaction via WhatsApp or email.
- Failure to pay the balance by the agreed date may result in your seat being forfeited without refund of the reservation amount.
⚠ The seat reservation amount of ₹1,000 is non-refundable if you choose not to continue after booking.
04Refund Policy
Our refund policy is as follows:
- Before course start: Full refund of fees paid (excluding the ₹1,000 seat reservation) if you cancel at least 5 days before the batch start date.
- Within 3 days of course start: 50% refund of fees paid (excluding the seat reservation) if you withdraw within the first 3 days of the batch.
- After 3 days of course start: No refund is available once the course has been in progress for more than 3 days.
- Batch cancellation by Accounting Baba: Full refund of all fees paid, including the seat reservation amount.
Refunds are processed to the original payment source within 7-10 working days. For detailed terms, refer to our Refund Policy page.
05Attendance and Certificate
- A minimum attendance of 80% of scheduled sessions is required to be eligible for the course completion certificate.
- Attendance is recorded session-by-session. Students are responsible for informing faculty in advance if they are unable to attend.
- No makeup sessions are guaranteed. Faculty may offer catch-up support at their discretion.
- The certificate is issued in the name provided at the time of enrollment. Ensure your name is correctly entered. Changes after certificate issuance will incur a reissuance fee.
- Certificates are typically issued within 15 days of course completion, subject to attendance eligibility being met.
- For the Finance / FP&A course, completion of the capstone project is an additional requirement for certification.
Certificates identify you as a student trained by qualified Chartered Accountants at Accounting Baba, Surat's oldest dedicated accounting training institute since 2018.
06Batch Changes and Transfers
- One free batch transfer is allowed before the course begins, subject to seat availability in the requested batch.
- Batch transfers after the course has started are subject to faculty approval and a transfer fee of ₹500.
- Branch transfers (e.g. from Udhna to Katargam) are treated the same as batch transfers.
- Transfer from offline to online mode (or vice versa) is allowed before the course begins at no additional charge, subject to availability.
- Requests for batch changes must be made via WhatsApp to +91 98567 05000 at least 48 hours before the next session.
07Course Materials and Intellectual Property
- All study material, notes, worksheets, recordings (if any) and content provided during the course are the intellectual property of Accounting Baba.
- Materials are provided for the personal study use of the enrolled student only. Sharing, reproducing, uploading or distributing course materials - in any form - is strictly prohibited.
- Recording of live sessions (video or audio) without prior written permission from Accounting Baba is not permitted.
- Any violation of this clause may result in immediate removal from the course without refund.
08Student Conduct
All students are expected to maintain respectful conduct towards faculty, staff and fellow students. The following will result in removal from the course without refund:
- Abusive, disruptive or threatening behaviour towards any faculty member, staff or student.
- Sharing course access credentials with non-enrolled individuals (for online courses).
- Academic dishonesty - submitting copied assignments or misrepresenting work.
- Any conduct that Accounting Baba reasonably determines is harmful to the learning environment.
09Placement Support
- Placement support is included in course fees at no additional charge for eligible courses.
- Placement support includes resume building, LinkedIn optimisation, interview preparation and employer introductions. It does not guarantee employment.
- Accounting Baba makes no representation or warranty regarding salary levels, job titles or the time taken to secure employment.
- Placement support has no fixed expiry - we remain connected until you are placed. However, students are expected to actively participate in the placement process.
- For placement support to remain active, students must complete the course and meet the 80% attendance requirement.
10Online Course Terms
- Online live sessions are conducted via video conferencing. A stable internet connection, webcam and microphone are required.
- Session recordings (where available) are accessible for a limited period after each session and are for enrolled students only.
- Accounting Baba is not responsible for disruptions caused by your internet connection or device issues.
- Online course fees are lower than offline fees. Online students receive the same certificate as offline students.
11Limitation of Liability
Accounting Baba's total liability to any student is limited to the course fee paid by that student. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss including loss of employment opportunity, loss of income, or career outcomes arising from enrollment in or completion of our courses.
We are not responsible for any technical failures of third-party platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, WhatsApp, Cashfree) used in the delivery of our services.
12Changes to Terms
Accounting Baba reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page. For enrolled students, changes take effect for future batches only - terms at the time of enrollment apply to your current batch.
13Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Surat, Gujarat.
